The Eagles expected to have an extended farewell on their “Long Goodbye Tour,” but now the iconic rock band is making their swan song last a bit longer.

The iconic rock band added seven more dates to their 2024 touring schedule, including a stop at Orlando’s Amway Center on March 4, 2024. After more than half a century of traveling around the world, the Eagles’ final tour is expected to last until 2025.

“The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe, keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds,” the band said in a statement. “Credit and thanks go to our longtime management team, our dedicated road crew, and our exceptional backup musicians for providing skilled and steadfast support, throughout these many years. We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful.”

Known for hits such as “Hotel Califonia,” “Take It Easy” and “Life in the Fast Lane,” the band formed in 1971 in Los Angeles and has persisted in touring even after the death of founding member Glenn Frey in 2016. In their career spanning more than five decades, the Eagles have garnered six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards.

“We hope to see as many of you as we can before we finish up. Most importantly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music,” the band’s statement continues. “At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on.”

Tickets, which start at $145.25, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Nov. 17. For tickets and information, visit eagles.com or amwaycenter.com.
