Phillip Valys

Phillip Valys covers general arts and entertainment for the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Though his focus is on the visual arts and music scenes, he's easily distracted by food festivals. This latest Titanic exhibit showcases 81 relics salvaged from the most infamous maritime disaster in modern history. The artifacts are on loan from RMS Titanic Inc. If the company's name sounds familiar, it may be because the federal government took action in June to block its future artifact expeditions.
