Walt Disney World has begun installing golden statues of its characters at Magic Kingdom as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. Eventually, 50 characters of all sizes will be seen spread across the resort’s theme parks.
Goofy stands tall above Pluto at Magic Kingdom, which is installing the golden statues as part of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
Minnie Mouse’s golden statue, which doesn’t forget polka dots, stands near Mickey.
Mickey Mouse’s figure, which was dedicated to Disney World cast members, stands in the hub near the castle.
Gus and Jaq are in a covered space near Cinderella Castle.
Lady and Tramp are near the entrance of Magic Kingdom, appropriately within sight of Tony’s Restaurant.
Walt Disney World has begun installing golden statues of its characters at Magic Kingdom as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. The characters are proportionally sized, so Chip and Dale are significantly smaller than Mickey Mouse but bigger than Tinker Bell.
