I’m ticked off at the growing size of screens on new vehicles with a manufacturer promoting one over 12 inches. What’s next? Watching movies replacing cell phone use as they drive in traffic?

I am ticked off at the new mailboxes they have installed at the Post Office. You have to get out of your car to mail something.  People who are handicapped or have trouble walking cannot get out of their cars.

I am ticked off that there is a misconception about wording on a subject from a reader. This person complained that news people were saying that the Speaker of the House is being referred to as second in line for the Presidency. This is absolutely correct. Think of a beauty pageant, you have the winner , a first runner up and a second runner up. In our government it is the same analogy, The President is not in line, but the Vice President and Speaker are in line, thus first and second in line to be President.

I have been a Miami Dolphins fan for many years and always look forward to seeing them play. However, if the Jacksonville Jaguars happen to be playing a game at the same day and time, their game is televised instead of the Dolphins. It really upsets me when that happens. Why do they rate above the Dolphins?

Can someone from Orange County enforce the speed limit of 25 MPH on Merryweather Drive in Orlando? Everyone treats this street like a raceway.

I am ticked off that the Mayor blamed remote workers for the housing crisis in Orlando instead of providing effective plans for affordable housing and resolving the issue during a television interview this week. Blaming others is not going to prevent homelessness! We need solutions not excuses and blame shifting!

The flip side

Many thanks to this paraplegic’s home health aides who make it possible for me to stay in my home. You do a difficult job with energy and patience that allows me to keep my dignity. You make a big difference in my life.
