Worried that you won’t be able to watch the Dolphins game in Germany on Sunday morning (9:30 a.m. ET) because you don’t get NFL Network? Well, don’t worry.

The simulcast of the Miami Dolphins-Kansas City Chiefs game at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt will be aired locally on NBC6 (WTVJ) in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The game, however, will not be broadcast on local TV in Palm Beach County.

The game could have a significant impact on playoff seedings and home-field advantage in the postseason as the Dolphins and Chiefs, along with the Ravens and Jaguars, are tied for the best record in the AFC at 6-2. The Philadelphia Eagles, who beat the Dolphins two weeks ago, have the NFL’s best record at 7-1.

The game also marks the first time Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill will face his former team. Hill spent his first six NFL seasons with the Chiefs and won a Super Bowl with them before joining the Dolphins last year.

“Obviously we’re playing against the Chiefs, so it’s going to be a fun game to see some old faces, and yeah, just get after it, talk trash to my old quarterback (Patrick Mahomes),” said Hill.

The defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs have opened as 2 1/2-point favorites over the Dolphins.

The Dolphins caught a huge break by having the game played in Germany as opposed to Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs, who are the designated home team, are 23-6 at Arrowhead since 2020.

The Dolphins’ last overseas game was in 2021, when they lost to Jacksonville, 23-20, at Tottenham Spur Stadium in England.

This is the Dolphins’ first regular-season game in Germany. They played a preseason game in Munich on Aug. 16, 1992, defeating Denver 31-27. The Dolphins have a 1-4 record in games in England.

The Dolphins-Chiefs game is one of five International Games this season, including the Patriots-Colts in Germany next Sunday on Oct. 12.
